RE: RATES AND/OR FORMS UPDATE - Wyoming Rate Filing Effective August 25, 2025

Dear Associates:

The Wyoming Division of Insurance has approved Stewart Title Guaranty Company’s latest rate submission, and the new rates are effective August 25, 2025.

A copy of the Revised Wyoming Manual of Charges and Forms for Title Insurance is available here.

These rates/forms have been provided to third-party title production system (TPS) vendors. Please contact your TPS vendor or account services representative to have the new/revised rates/forms implemented in your system.

A summary of the changes to the Rate Manual is outlined below.

  •        Revised threshold of General Provisions from $25 million to $20 million for special pricing consideration
  •        Minimum Basic Schedule of Charges increased from $240 to $250; a percent increase to the liability brackets and liability bracket $50,000-$70,000 was removed
  •        A note was added to Section 6 (c)(3), simultaneous coverage, when the amount of insurance of the loan policy exceeds the owner policy
  •        Limited Liability Policy is revised to Junior Loan Policy under Section 6 (g)
  •        Section 6 (h) STG Commercial Short Form Loan Policy deleted
  •        Added Section 6 (k) Wyoming Foreclosure Title Policy – Loan and (l) ALTA Limited Pre-Foreclosure Policy
  •        Revised pricing of ALTA Residential Limited Coverage Mortgage Modification Policy from flat rate to tiered pricing
  •        Section 12 forms:
